1. Tier -I -Preliminary Examination – 100 marks 2. Tier -II – Subject Knowledge Examination – 100 marks 3. Tier III – Personality Test/Interview – 40 marks (For the Post of Principal) & Skill Test for the post of JSA.

EMRS Exam Pattern 2025 for Principal Post
The Selection of the Principal is through a three stage selection process – Tier I, Tier II and Tier III. The Tier I is the Preliminary (Qualifying) Examination in OMR (Objective) Mode for a total of 100 marks. The Tier II is Subject Knowledge Examination and it is only for Candidates who are shortlisted in the ratio of 1:10 against the notified vacancies on the basis of Tier I Preliminary examination.
The Tier -III is the Personal interaction / Interview of 40 marks and it is only for Shortlisted Candidates on the basis of performance in Tier II examination. The Final Selection of the candidates will be on the weightage of written test (Tier II only) and Interview in ratio 80% and 20% respectively. The Exam Scheme of Tier I & II is as under –

The Selection Process of Post Graduate Teacher in EMRS is through a two stage selection process – Tier I & Tier II. The Tier I is a qualifying written examination based on which the candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:10 against the notified vacancies for the Tier II. The Tier II is a Subject Knowledge Based Written Examination having both objective and descriptive questions. Similar to the PGT, the Selection Process of TGT or Trained Graduate Teacher in EMRS is through a two stage selection process – Tier I & Tier II. The Tier I is a qualifying written examination based on which the candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:10 against the notified vacancies for the Tier II. The Selection of Accountant in EMRS is through Tier I and Tier II. With Tier I being the qualifying test for the stage II. EMRS Exam Pattern 2025 for Junior Secretariat Assistant
The Selection Process of the EMRS Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) is through three stages. The 1st Stage will have Tier I Examination which is the Preliminary Stage and is qualifying in nature. The Candidates who are shortlisted in the ratio of 1:10 against the notified vacancies on the basis of Tier I Preliminary examination) – Subject Knowledge Examination will be called for the Tier II Examination. Candidates based on the merit in Tier-II shall be called for Tier -III i.e. Typing test in the ratio of 1:3 which shall also be qualifying in nature. EMRS JSA Tier III Typing Skill Test Scheme
Candidates based on the merit shall qualify for Tier III i.e. Typewriting test in the ratio of 1:3.
The Typing Test [will be assessed on PC (Personal Computer) only].
Total mark is 50.
Passing marks shall be 20.
This part shall be qualifying in nature.
EMRS Lab Attendant Written Exam Scheme
Candidates for the post of Lab Attendant need to qualify through two stage selection process. The Tier I or Preliminary Exam is qualifying in nature having objective type questions only. While the Tier II will have both objective and descriptive type questions. Candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:10 against the notified vacancies on the basis of Tier I Preliminary examination) for the Tier II – Subject Knowledge Examination.
