AIIMS New Delhi as per the Exam Date Notification has decided to conduct the selection test in two stage: Stage 1 & Stage 2. A snippet of the Official Notice is as under –
AIIMS NORCET 7 Examination Scheme
The applicants who are planning to appear for this eligibility test must know that the Selection Test wll be an Online Test and it is termed as CBT or Computer Based Test. Hence, all of the applicants need to appear the test through online mode. As per the AIIMS Official Notification, the Authority will conduct the NORCET examination in two successive stages as below –
- Stage I: NORCET Preliminary
- Stage II: NORCET Main
AIIMS NORCET 7 Preliminary Examination Scheme
The NORCET Preliminary stage is a qualifying examination qualifying of which will allow the candidates to appear in Stage II: NORCET Main, subject to conditions as described below for preparation of the list of candidates called for Stage II. The Preliminary Examination is the screening stage and the NORCET Preliminary is qualifying in nature and AIIMS shall not consider its score to decide Merit/ Rank for final selection. The Scheme of the examination is as under –

For the Stage II, AIIMS will shortlist the candidates on the basis of Stage I score equal to 5 times the total seats in each category (UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS). The Scheme of the NORCET Mains Examination is as under –

How will AIIMS Release the NORCET 7 Admit Card 2024?
AIIMS New Delhi will upload the detailed information viz. (date of uploading of Status of application, date of uploading of Admit card etc.) related to conduct of Examination on the official website www.aiimsexams.ac.in.g. Hence the applied candidates should download their Admit Card from AIIMS web site www.aiimsexams.ac.in as no admit card will be available by post.
Also , the candidates should bring Admit Card downloaded from AIIMS website at the time of Online (CBT) mode Examination and hand over the same to the Invigilator. Failure to do this will not allow the applicants to sit for the Online (CBT) mode Examination.
