BPSSC ASI Steno Skill Test Overview
The Bihar Police ASI Stenographer Skill Test will compose of Stenography Test, Typing Test and Computer Knowledge Test. The Skill Test are qualifying nature and does not carry any mark however non-qualifying the skill test will render the candidate ineligible for the selection process.
Hindi Stenography Test
- Hindi Stenography at 80WPM of a dictation of 5 minutes.
- Translation of the same into Hindi within 20 minutes.
- Candidates will be given 2 minutes before the translation for necessary correction.
- Candidates with more than 10% mistakes will be disqualified.
Typing Test
- Hindi Typing at 30 WPM for 10 minutes for 300 words on computer.
- English Typing at 30 WPM for 10 minutes for 300 words on computer.
- Candidates with more than 5% mistakes in Hindi Typing will be disqualified.
- Candidates with more than 10% mistakes in English Typing will be disqualified.
- Candidates not able to type 300 words in 10 minutes will be disqualified.
Computer Knowledge Test
The Commission will evaluate the candidate’s knowledge of MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Internet to determine the suitability of the candidates for the post.
