Bihar Police Driver Constable Selection Process
Bihar Police Constable Driver Vacancy has the requirement, minimum qualification is higher secondary and there is a requirement of a valid one-year-old driving license to apply for the posts announced. But the selection process of the posts has three steps of selection, which a candidate has to overcome to find his/her place in the final merit list.

CSBC Driver Written Examination
The Written Examination is for short listing the candidates for Physical Efficiency Test. This examination will be only qualifying in nature and on the basis of the results, candidates equal to the 5 times of the vacancies category wise will be called for Physical Efficiency Test.
Bihar Police Driver Physical Efficiency Test
Physical Efficiency Test is mandatory for all the applicants applying for this recruitment. Candidates appearing for the Physical Efficiency Test shall be given three chances in the different events; failure in all of the chances will render them ineligible for further process of recruitment.PET will also be qualifying in nature.
Motor Vehicles Driving Skill Test:
Since the Constable Driver post is related to driving, driving skill test will be the last steps of the recruitment. Candidates have to prove the required driving skill as per CSBC standards to get qualified for the Posts.

CSBC Bihar Police Driver Written Exam Scheme
The written examination is the first stage of the selection; it will serve as the screening test for the Physical Efficiency Test of the candidates. The written exam of the Bihar Police Driver Selection will be an OMR based multiple choice answer based examination of 100 marks. Important highlights of the written exam are –
- Full marks of the examination is 100 marks
- Total time duration is 2 hours
- Number of Question will be 100.
- Number allotment for each question would be 1.
- Minimum Qualifying marks is 40 marks for UR, 36.5 marks for BC, 34 marks for EBC and 32 marks for SC/ST and Female Candidates.
- Current Affairs, General Studies, Motor Vehicle Act & Related Rules, Vehicle Parts, Lubricants & Maintenance will be syllabus of the written examination.

CSBC Bihar Police Driver Physical Efficiency Test Pattern
Candidates after qualifying the written exam shall be eligible for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). CSBC will conduct PET with a series of events to check the physical standard of the candidates. Details of the events with criteria for selection are as follows-

Female candidates should have a minimum weight of 48 kilograms in this recruitment. Candidates shall be given three chances. Based on the performance in the PET, candidates will be selected for driving skill test.
CSBC Bihar Police Constable Driving Skill Test
The Bihar Police Constable Driving Skill Test is the last and the most important as it will decide the final selected candidates for the post. The test will be of 100 marks. The Test will have the following stages as under –
- Candidates Ability to Drive JEEP: 40 Marks.
- Candidates Ability to Drive CAR: 40 Marks.
- Candidates Ability to Drive BUS/TRUCK: 20 Marks.
- Document Verification.

Candidates Ability to Drive JEEP: 40 Marks.
In this test, Testing Track will be provided to candidates. The Marks in this test will be provided in the following manner:

Document Verification & PMT
The candidates who clears the driving skill test will have to produce the necessary documents including the Physical Measurement Test. The Physical Measurement Test Standard that the candidates need to qualify through are as follows –
