CISF Constable Fireman Exam Pattern Overview

• Height Bar Test (HBT) : Those candidates found eligible in height bar test will be put through PST.
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates have to clear 5 Km running event in 24 minutes.
• Physical Standard Test (PST) – Candidates who qualify Height Bar Test & PET (Running Event) will be screened for height, chest and weight by the Board of Officers. Physical Standards for the post are as follows :-

• Documentation: In this event, the original documents of the candidates will be verified by the Board of Officers.

CISF Constable Fireman Written Test Scheme

• The written test will be either OMR/Computer-based Test
• Objective type question paper will be of 100 marks of 02 hours duration.
• The written test will be containing 100 Marks.
• The Subjects of the Test will be General Intelligence, General Knowledge, Arithmetic, and General English or Hindi.
• The questions will be bilingual in English/Hindi.
• The minimum percentage of marks for qualifying for next stage will be as under:
• General /ESM : 35 % & SC/ST/OBC : 33 %
• There is no negative mark in the test.

• Skill Test Norms on Computer: English Typing with minimum speed of 35 WPM on a computer or Hindi Typing with minimum speed of 30 WPM on the computer ( Time allowed -10 minutes).

• Medical Examination And Screening of Testimonials: Only those candidates who have qualified both the stages will be eligible to appear in the Medical Examination.
