Any candidates who need to change the date of the physical test for the reasons mentioned below, they will have to apply in person as per the format mentioned below at the office of Gujarat Police Board, Bungalow No. G-12, Near Sarita Udhan, Sector-9, Gandhinagar Pin Code-382007 along with the application, a copy of the call letter and proof of the reason for which they want to change the date.

• If the candidate is married or has a sibling.
• In case of any other examination like Government Recruitment and College Examination, the candidate will be required to appear for the physical test (on the day before the commencement of the examination, on the day/days of the examination and on the day after the completion of the examination if there is a physical test).
• If the candidate’s mother/ father/ brother/ sister/ grandfather/ grandmother/ wife/ son/ daughter has passed away.

Gujarat Police Constable Mains Exam Pattern

Qualified candidates in the Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test shall have to appear for the following exam which will have objective type questions. The Gujarat Police Constable Main Written Examination shall be of 300 marks consisting of 2 papers (Objective type and Descriptive type). The scheme of the test for each paper are as under:

Gujarat Police Constable Paper 1 Exam Scheme

The Paper 1 of the Gujarat Police Constable Mains Written Examination shall have two parts i.e. Part A + Part B. The Test t shall consist of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ). Every question shall be of 1 mark with negative mark of 0.25 mark for every wrong answer. 40 % is minimum qualifying standard in each part while the candidates shall be required to qualify in both Part A and Part B separately. The exam topics of both the Part A and B of Paper 1 of the Gujarat Police Constable Mains Written examination is available in the table below.

• The Qualifying standard for Paper-1 shall be minimum 40% marks in Part-A and Part-B separately.
• The Qualifying standard for Paper-2 shall be minimum 40% marks.
• The evaluation of Paper-2 shall be made only for those candidates who score minimum 40 per cent marks in Paper 1.

Gujarat Police Constable Paper 2 (Descriptive) Scheme

The Paper 2 of the Gujarat Police Constable Mains Written shall also have two parts – Part A and Part B. The examination shall carry a total of 100 marks. Candidates need to score a minimum of 40% marks to qualify the test. The exam components of the paper 2 is available in the table below.
