RRB JE Educational Qualification

RRB JE Age Limit
The minimum age limit to apply for RRB JE is 18 years while the maximum age limit is 36 years as of 01st January 2025. There are also age relaxations for different categories.
RRB JE Apply Online 2024 – Online Application Process
Following are the steps to apply Online for RRB JE 2024 exam:
Part 1: RRB JE Registration 2024
- Visit respective RRB website @ rrbapply.gov.in then click on RRB JE apply online 2024 link.
- Click on the New Registration button.
- Enter basic details such as name, date of birth, Aadhar number, class 10 roll number, mobile number and email ID.
- Click on the submit button to get registration details.
- Login credentials (registration number and password) will be sent to the candidates registered mobile number and e-mail ID.
Part 2: Fill and Submit RRB JE Application form 2024
- Login using RRB JE registration number and password.
- Fill all the education details, select community, gender and religion.
- Next select post preferences and choice of exam language.
- Upload your scanned photograph and signature images in acceptable formats and sizes.
- Click on submit and save button to make exam fee payment.
- Now, pay the application fees through online mode using debit card/ credit card/ UPI payment gateway.
- Optionally, take a print out of the application form for future use.

- RRB JE application fee is ₹500 for general category male candidates.
- For all the females irrespective of caste, the application fees is ₹250 only.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwD communities should pay ₹250.
Note: you get your RRB JE registration ID and password before paying the fee, so don’t consider that as the final step. Admit card will be generated only for candidates who have completed the application process and paid the fee as well.
RRB JE Refund
RRB JE exam fee refund is also there wherein Rs 400 will be refunded to general category students while Rs 250 will be refunded to the remaining category candidates after the first stage of CBT.
How to Modify RRB JE Application form?

I. Scanned Documents:
Candidates must have scanned photograph and signature in below listed formats and sizes. Scanned copy of caste certificate required for SC/ST category candidates. They also get a free second class railway ticket for appearing the exam.
