The RRB NTPC age limit is 18 to 33/36 years for general category candidates. There is relaxation in upper age limit provided for SC/ST (5 years) and OBC (3 years) category candidates.

The result of the RRB NTPC exam will be available soon after the CBT 1 and the selection for stage 2 exam is totally based on how the candidate scored in the stage 1 exam. If a candidate qualifies in stage 1 of RRB NTPC exam, then he/she can appear for stage 2 of CBT and on clearing the exam, he/she gets the call for medical test and document verification.
RRB NTPC Syllabus 2024
RRB NTPC Syllabus 2024 for CBT 1 exam comprises Math, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness for 100 marks. The CBT 1 will have a total of 100 objective type questions, which the candidates need to answer in 90 minutes. For each wrong answer, a candidate will lose 1/3rd of marks from the final score.
RRB NTPC Syllabus 2024 for CBT 2 exam also comprises Math, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness subjects but for 100 marks. A total of 120 objective type questions will be there, where candidates need to answer these questions in 90 minutes. For each wrong answer, a candidate will lose 1/3rd of marks from the final score.

Railway recruitment board will decide RRB NTPC cut off 2024 is based on the performance of candidates in particular zone, difficulty level of question papers, number of vacancies and reservations. All the candidates should visit the respective regional RRB websites to check cut off marks for general, SC, ST, OBC and PwD categories. The final merit list will be available for each RRB region by considering cut off marks and reservations quota.
RRB NTPC 2024 – FAQs
The minimum age requirement for RRB NTPC exam is 18 years, and maximum age limit is 33 / 36 years as on 01.01.2025. However, 5 years and 3 years relaxations in upper age limit provided for SC/ST and OBC categories respectively.

The RRB NTPC selection is through candidates performance in 2 stages of online tests and medical test/document verification.
