SSC CHSL Examination 2024 – Selection Process
Staff Selection Commission shortlists the applicants for CHSL Examination Posts through a series of selection stages. Aspirants must clear these stages to secure the jobs as announced through SSC CHSL 2024 Notification. The Stages of Selection in SSC CHSL are as follows –

SSC CHSL Tier 1 Examination Scheme Overview
The SSC CHSL Tier 1 Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only. The questions will be set in English and Hindi for Part-II, III & IV. Details of the scheme is shared below throw the chart as under –

- Time Duration of the Test is 60 Minutes.
- There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
SSC CHSL Tier 2 Examination Scheme Overview
The candidates who are shortlisted in the Tier 1 Result can only appear for the Tier 2 Test. The Tier 2 Examination will include following three sections having two modules against each. The SSC CHSL Tier 2 Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions, except for Module 2 of Section 3. The questions will be set in English and Hindi except for Module-I (i.e. English Language and Comprehension module) in Section 2. Aspirants should note that it will be mandatory for the candidates to qualify all the sections of Tier 2.
Scheme Wise Tier 2 Exam Scheme
Staff Selection Commission shall conduct the CHSL Tier 2 Examination in two sessions – Session 1 & Session 2, on same day. Session 1 will include conducting of Section 1, Section 2 and Module 1 (Computer Knowledge Test) of Section 3. Session 2 will include conducting of Section 3 – Module 2 (Skill Test/ Typing Test) of Section 3. The Section Wise SSC CHSL Tier 2 Examination Pattern is thus as under –
