UGC NET Apply Online 2025 Steps
It is to note that Candidates have to apply for UGC – NET December 2025 “Online” ONLY by accessing the website: https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/; https://ugcnet.ntaonline.in. The Application Form other than online mode would not be accepted in any case. Now, as per the official UGC NET Application, the aspirants should know that Apply Online Steps of NTA UGC National Eligibility Test involves the following stages –

UGC NET Apply Online 2025 – Step 1 Registration
This steps involves the Registration Part. Candidates have to fill in the basic information and note down the system generated Application No. The steps which may be followed are as follows –
- Visit the Official website @ https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/
- Click on UGC-NET December-2025: Click Here to Register/Login.
- Read the instructions and fill the Online Application Form and create PASSWORD and choose Security Question and enter the Answer.
- After successful Form: submission of the personal details, an Application number will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form and will also be required for all future reference/correspondence.
UGC NET Apply Online 2025 – Step 2 Application Form
In this stage, the candidates can login with the system-generated Application Number and pre-created Password for completing the Application Form. For this the following steps may be followed –
- Visit the official web portal @ https://ugcnetjun2025.ntaonline.in/
- Enter the Application No and Password and Security PIN to login.
- After login fill up Application of personal details, applying for the Paper, choosing the Examination Cities, providing the details of Educational Qualifications, and uploading the images Form: and documents (if any).
- Next, upload Scanned Images of Candidate’s Photograph, Signature.
- The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb (clearly legible) in JPG format.
- The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly legible).
- The recent photograph should be either in colour or black & white with a white background in JPG format (clearly legible).
UGC NET Apply Online 2025 – Step 3 : Fee Payment
This is the last stage of UGC NTA Application Form. Actually, after completing Step 1 and Step 2, the candidates have to pay the requisite examination fee. The applicants can pay the fee only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Paytm Services. The Application fees are as follows –
