Highlights of changes in WBP Constable Exam Pattern 2024
- Single Written Examination – The aspirants in this recruitment shall have to appear for a SINGLE stage written examination which the aspirants had to appear for two stage written examination in earlier recruitment notices.
- Upper Age Limit Enhanced- The upper age limit of the applicants have been enhanced from 27 years to 30 years.
- New marking scheme of Written Exam – West Bengal Police Recruitment Board for the first time shall conduct the written examination with a new marking scheme from this recruitment onwards.

WB Police Constable Selection Process 2024
The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board shall rap up the WB Police Constable Recruitment 2024 in three stages namely – Written Examination, PMT / PET and Interview.

The 1st Stage is the Written Examination which every applicants need to appear to as the first stage of selection process. Based on the performance of the Written Examination, the WB Police Recruitment Board shall call the candidates to appear for the PMT and then PET. Actually, the candidates who clears the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will be eligible to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test. Shortlisted candidates in this stage will have to appear for interview/personality test.
