Assam CEE 2025 Notification is released. The Assam CEE is the short form of Combined Entrance Examination for admission to the B.Tech Programme in the State of Assam. Assam State Technical University (ASTU) conducts this entrance test every year for the students who want to pursue an engineering degree in the Govt and Private engineering colleges in Assam. So, to start this process, ASTU announced the Assam CEE 2022 Notification according to which the interested candidates need to submit the application online within the closing date. Assam CEE 2025 Notification Released
The Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), 2025 for admission to B.Tech. programme in the colleges of Assam shall be conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University. The ASTU shall conduct the CEE-2025 as per the latest syllabus of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council. As per the official information the entrance test will be a single paper examination of 120 marks. Candidates who appears for this test shall be awarded rank card based on which the final allotment of the colleges will be concluded through counselling.

Assam CEE Eligibility Criteria 2025
The students who want to sit for the Assam Combined Entrance Examination for admission to the B.Tech Programme in the State of Assam need to possess the following eligibility as under –
Educational Qualification
Apart from being an Indian citizen, the applicant should be a permanent resident of Assam. Regarding the admission eligibility, the candidate must pass the HS Science Examination individually in the same sitting without any grace marks in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with a minimum of 50 % (45 % in case of SC and 40% in case of ST) marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Students who are awaiting for the HS Result can register and sit for the entrance test. But the final admission to the B.Tech course will be according to the eligibility as discussed above. OR
Candidates who have passed 3years Diploma in Engineering & Technology under State Council for Technical Education, Assam, with 45% (40% for reserved category) marks in the Final Diploma Examination
Age Limit for Admission
The student’s age should be within 17 years of age as on the date of registration. However, there is no upper age limit to appear for CEE.
How to Apply Online for Assam CEE 2025 ?
The interested candidates must apply for Assam CEE 2025 Registration through the online application form. But before this, the candidates should read the instructions for filling up the online application form. Also, the applicants must possess the required criteria and educational qualification as mentioned in the information booklet, failing which candidature shall be disqualified at the time of counseling. After the online form fill up, the applicants need not send a copy of the Application Form or any Document to Assam State Technical University Office.
However, candidates should take a printout of the application form which needs to be produced during counseling. Hence make sure to take a hard copy of the online application submitted. The following additional information is necessary for the students to fill up the Assam CEE 2025 Application which we have enclosed here below-
- An email ID
- A Mobile Number for OTP
- A valid debit/credit card or Net banking account.
- Scanned clear signature in JPG/JPEG format (size between 15 kb–30kb).
- Scanned recent passport size colour photograph
Note: The size of the photograph must be less than 35 kb, the height of the photograph between 250 pixels to 320 pixels and the width of the photograph must be between 150 pixels to 220 pixels. Size of Signature must be less than 30kb, the height of the signature must be between 100 pixels to 180 pixels and the width of the signature must be between 150 pixels to 220 pixels. The photograph and signature should be either in ‘.jpeg’ or ‘.jpg’ format.
Application Fee Details
The applicants should pay an Application Fee of Rs. 750/- (Seven hundred and fifty only) online through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking.

Assam CEE 2025 Examination Pattern
Assam CEE-2025 will be based on the syllabus of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC). The examination will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) type and comprise of a single paper of 3 (three) hours duration with following distribution –
