wbjeeb.nic.in JENPAS (UG) Ranking Methodology & Merit List Release
WBJEEB will prepare JENPAS (UG) Merit Rank List based on the candidates score in the entrance test. Individual candidates will be able to view and download his/her Rank Card, which will contain score and rank.
- The JENPAS (UG) rank shall be in the name and style of ‘GMR’ (General Merit Rank).
- Ranking shall be done in the descending order of marks scored in the entrance test.
- Separate reserved category merit position will also be indicated for respective category of students e.g., SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PwD/ EWS etc. as applicable.
- Sequencing order for counselling /allotment of seat/ admission will be based on GMR only (not on category ranks).
WBJEEB at the same time shall release another separate merit rank in the name of ‘GMR-N’ for only female candidates for admission into B.Sc. – Nursing. Candidates who are qualified in the GMR-N (General Merit Rank – Nursing) shall be able for admission to BSc Nursing Course.
