Intelligence Bureau MTS Syllabus 2025
Ministry of Home Affairs (Intelligence Bureau) advertised a notification for recruiting 362 candidates as Multi Tasking Staffs for the Subsidiary Intelligence Bureaus across the country. Contenders must ensure the eligibility conditions of IB MTS Recruitment before going to fill the online applications. The end date for sending applications is 14th December 2025. Now, in the selection process, the Authority will conduct two tier – Tier 1 Examination & Tier 2 Examination to finalize the list of selected candidates. IB MTS Tier 1 Online Exam Scheme
The Intelligence Bureau MTS Tier 1 will be an Online Examination of Objective type MCQs for 1 hour duration. The exam is divided into 4 parts containing 100 questions of 1 mark each on the following subjects –

- Each correct answer will fetch 01 mark.
- There will be negative marking of the ¼ mark for each wrong answer.

- UR & EWS Candidates -30 marks
- OBC Candidates -28 marks &
- SC/ST Candidates – 25 marks
IB MTS Tier 2 Exam Pattern Details
The Tier 2 Exam is a Descriptive Test on English Language and Comprehension carrying a total of 50 marks. The Test will be of qualifying in nature with the qualifying marks in Tier 2 is 20 out of 50. The structure of the test is as follows –
