Himachal Pradesh Police Constable Physical Test Scheme
The Himachal Pradesh Police Constable Physical Test shall consist of Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Based on the Height of the candidates, a maximum of 06 marks will be awarded to the candidates. The details of both the test is as under –

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Scheme
The Physical Efficiency Test will also be conducted by Himachal Pradesh Police Department and will be of qualifying nature alone. HP Police Constable Written Exam Scheme
Candidates who are qualified in the Physical Test will be eligible to appear for a Written Examination. The Written Examination will be an objective type offline test with the following features –
- The syllabus for the Written Examination will be of +2 standard and will be published on the HPPSC official website.
- The Written examination will be of TWO hours duration.
- The Exam will have 90 marks consisting of 90 objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- The question paper will be bilingual i.e. in English & Hindi.
- For each wrong answer, one fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
- If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer and there will be a penalty of 0.25 marks.
- If a question is left blank i.e. no circle is blackened by the candidate, there will be same penalty.
Document Verification
In the document verification, the police department will carry out the document verification of such candidates falling in the zone of consideration. Also the department will award the following marks for NCC Certificate holders to prepare the final merit list –
