NORCET Result / Rank 2024 is a combination of a score and a merit rank. This will be used for direct recruitment to the post of Nursing Officer (Group B posts) in all AIIMS in the pay scale at the Level 07 in the Pay Matrix (pre-revised Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9300- 34800 with Grade pay of Rs. 4600/-) or as revised from time to time. Further, the AIIMS NORCET score may be subsequently used by any of the AIIMSs for filling any of the vacancies for a period of one year. Thus the shortlisted candidates have a better chance of selection within this period.
The Shortlisted candidates should note that the final selection is subject to the verification of eligibility, documents in original etc. as desired by the respective recruiting AIIMS, as per their criteria applicable at respective AIIMS.
Qualifying Marks in the AIIMS NORCET 7
The exam participants who are searching for AIIMS NORCET Result 2024 should know that there is minimum qualifying marks in the completed test. Hence, the candidates should score the minimum qualifying marks for further process of selection. The qualifying marks in Recruitment Examination category wise will be –
- 50% for UR/EWS,
- 45% for OBC
- 40% for SC & ST.
- 35% for SC/ST – PWBD.
- 40% for OBC-PWBD
- 45% for UR/EWS-PWBD

Resolution of Tie Cases in AIIMS NORCET 2024 Result
During the result preparation, if there is a tie between two or more candidates, then the Tie cases will be resolved –
- First by using date of birth with older candidates placed higher
- If not resolved by (i), by number of wrong answers / negative marks has been used wherein those with less wrong answers / negative marks has been placed higher.
