Assam TET 2024 Structure & Components in details
Structure & Components comprise of Assam TET Syllabus 2024 & Exam Pattern. Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)-2021 Assam for Lower Primary and Upper Primary level in Assam will be conducted as per the guidelines laid down by NCTE. Hence, eligible candidates who intend to appear in Paper I ( Lower Primary) and Paper-II ( Upper Primary) of TET shall have to fill up the online form. However, a candidate is allowed to appear for both the papers provided he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria.
In that case, Candidates who intend to appear in both the papers i.e. Paper I and Paper II will have to pay the fee for both the papers separately and will have to submit separate Online Application.

Important Points of Assam TET Paper 1 & 2 Examination
Following are the important points associated with both the papers of the TET Assam Examination. Applicants can check the chart below to get acquainted with these before jumping to Assam TET Syllabus.
Duration of Examination | 2 and 1/2 hours (150 Minutes) for Paper-I and 2 ½ hours (150 Minutes) for Paper-II. Additional 20 minutes’ time (per hour) will be there for visually impaired candidates |
Minimum Marks for qualifying in TET | A candidate should score 60 % i.e. 90 marks out of 150 to qualify the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET). However, for SC/ST (Hills) /ST (Plain) /OBC / MOBC / PWD (PH), there will be relaxation of 5 %. Thus, for these candidates, qualifying marks will be 83 out of 150 i.e. 55 %. |
Negative Marks | There will be no negative marking in any of the papers for the wrong answer. |
The medium of Question Paper | Questions will be available in Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Hindi, English. |
