Eligibility Criteria for Bihar PSC Headmaster Application
Educational Qualification
(i) Post Graduate with 50% Marks (45% for SC / ST / EBC / BC / PWD/ EWS & FEMALE Candidates ) (ii) Must have passed B.Ed / B.A. Ed/ B.Sc Ed. from a recognised institution. (iii) Should have qualified the Teacher Eligibility Test of 2012 or after.
Experience
(i)Minimum 10 Years of continuous service on the post of Secondary Teacher in State Government School under Panchayati Raj Institution or Municipal Body Institution. (ii) Minimum 12 Years of continuous service on the post of Secondary Teacher in School having permanent affiliation from C.B. S.E / I.C. S.E./ B.S.E.B. (iii) Minimum 08 Years of continuous service on the post of Senior Secondary Teacher in State Government School under Panchayati Raj Institution or Municipal Body Institution. (iv) Minimum 10 Years of continuous service on the post of Senior Secondary Teacher in School having permanent affiliation from C.B.S.E /I.C.S.E./ B.S.E.B.
Age Limit
The applicants should be within 31 to 47 years as on 1st August 2023. However, the upper age limit is relaxed as per Bihar Govt rules in force.
