- Age Limit Criteria: 18 to 42 Years; Upper Age Limit is relaxed as per Govt of Haryana rules in force.
- Educational Qualification: First of all, the candidates should have qualified the HSSC Common Eligibility Test (CET) Group-C. In addition to this, the applicants should have passed 10 / 10+2 from a recognised board. With regard to skill eligibility, the candidates should have English Shorthand at a speed of 100 words per minute and transcription at a speed of 20 words per minute and mistakes should not exceed 4% OR Hindi Shorthand at a speed of 80 words per minute and transcription at a speed of 15 words per minute and mistake should not exceed 4%.

HSSC Stenographer Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
Haryana Staff Selection Commission on the basis of score of the candidates in HSSC CET Group C shall shortlist the eligible candidates for a Written Examination. Thereafter, based on the Written Examination result, the candidates will be called for stenography skill test. Final selection will be on the basis of Written Examination score provided the candidates have qualified the skill test conducted by HSSC.
