IB ACIO Gr 2 Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
Applied candidates will have to appear for the Tier 1 Exam first. This shortlisting for the Tier 2 will be based on performance & normalization of marks. Thereafter, the shortlisted candidates in Tier 1 exam will appear for the Tier 2 Exam. Finally, on the basis of their combined performance in Tier-1 and Tier-II, the candidates would be shortlisted for the Tier-3/Interview.
MHA based on the combined performance in Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier- 3/Interview, will prepare the IB ACIO Final Selection List of the candidates.

IB ACIO Tier 1 Exam Pattern
The IB ACIO Grade 2 Tier 1 Examination will be a test on online mode. The Test will have 100 Objective types MCQs, divided into 5 parts containing 20 questions of 1 marks each. More details are available on the chart as under –

- Duration of the Test is 1 Hour
- Questions will be objective type.
- Negative marking of ¼mark will be applicable for each wrong answer.
- The Test will be Online.
- Each question will carry 1 mark.
- Cut-off marks (out of 100) in Tier-I exam are UR-35, OBC/EWS-34 & SC/ST-33.
IB ACIO Tier 2 Exam Pattern
The IB ACIO Tier 2 Exam will be a descriptive type paper of 50 marks. Applicants shall have to attempt the test on the following topics –

How does MHA Release the IB ACIO Admit Card?
The applicants who intend to appear for the selection test of IB ACIO Recruitment must download the IB ACIO Admit Card from the Recruitment Portal. This is a mandatory step for every stage of the selection. Although, the applicants will receive the exam intimation on the registered email ID. This is an important document that every applicant needs to carry along at the exam centre. Also, the candidates should have sufficient number of passport size coloured photographs (identical to the one uploaded) and carry identity proof in original such as –
- Voter Card or
- Driving License or
- Aadhar Card or
- PAN Card or
- Identity Card issued by University/College etc.
to the examination centre. If the candidate fails to carry ID, Photograph & Admit Card, he/she shall not be allowed to appear for the examination.
