Factors influencing RPF Constable Cut off 2025
RPF Constable exam cut off 2025 is the minimum marks or score in the Computer Based Test that a candidate needs to clear one stage of the recruitment process and move on to the next. Actually, to make it more clear, Railway Recruitment Board announces two types of cutoffs for the RPF Constable exam i.e. the qualifying and the final. The final RPF Constable cut off is the overall one on the basis of which the recruitment authority selects the eligible candidates in the recruitment.
Ministry of Railways determines RPF Constable 2025 Cut off for all categories separately. While calculating the RPF Constable cutoff 2025, the authority will take into account multiple factors. The factors that are responsible are as under –

- Difficulty level of the exam.
- Number of vacancies/posts for recruitment
Types Of RPF Constable Cutoff 2025
As dicussed above that, Ministry of Railways releases two ypes of RPF Constable cutoffs to select the candidates. Thus, the aspirants should know the details of the same. The two tupes of RPF Constable cutoffs that RRB released are as under –
| RPF Constable qualifying cutoff/ marks | It is the minimum percentage of marks required by the applicants to qualify the RPF Constable exam. The qualifying cutoff is released along with the RPF Constable Exam notification. As per the notification , the RPF Constable Qualifying Cut off Marks according to the category are as under – 35% marks for UR/OBC and 30 % marks by SC and ST candidates. |

RPF Constable Cut off 2025 – Score Calculation
To calculate the RPF Constable Score, the authority will deduct the score of incorrect answers form the score of correct answes. Since, a large number of aspirants sit for the RPF Constable Recruitment Test, therefore the Railway Authority conducts the test in multiple shifts across the country. Now, since the exam is held in multiple shifts, the Ministry of Railways follows the normalization method for the cutoff calculation. In general, the RPF Constable score calculation method is as under –
- Correct answer = 1 mark.
- Incorrect answer = -1/3 mark ( means for 3 wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted).
- Unanswered questions = no mark.
