WBJEE ANM / GNM 2026 Notification
For the academic session of 2026-27, the WBJEEB will conduct common entrance examinations titled ANM(R) / GNM-2026 for admission into two (2) years’ Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (Revised) course and three (3) years’ General Nursing & Midwifery course in various Govt./Pvt./Self-financed institutes in the State of West Bengal. The examination will be conducted on 14th June 2026 (Sunday) 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m.
Eligibility Criteria for WBJEE ANM / GNM 2026
- The applicant must be a citizen of India.
- The applicant must have passed OR must be appearing in 2026 in class 12 examination in (10+2) system only.
- The applicant’s age must be at least 17 (seventeen) years as on 31.12.2026.
In addition to the above the additional eligibility criteria to apply is as follows –

- All questions will be of Multiple- Choice Question (MCQ) type.
- Time for the paper is 1½ hours.
- The questions will be in both English and Bengali language (except Basic English and Logical Reasoning).
- Syllabus: Life Science, Physical Science, Mathematics will be based on 10th standard syllabi of the recognised Board/Councils in India and Basic English, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning will be equivalent to 12th standard curriculum.
- Negative Mark will only be applicable for Category 1 questions and it will be ¼ (25% negative) marks for each question.
