Railway Group D Level 1 Result 2026 Link
RRBs invited online applications from eligible aspirants against CEN 08/2024 for various posts in Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix in various units of Indian Railways. RRB Group D Result 2026 – Evaluation of CBT
The RRB Group D Computer Based Test is an objective type MCQ based examination. CBT examination consist of 100 questions with a duration of 90 minutes. There will be Negative marking for incorrect answers in the CBT and for every wrong answer, the exam authority will deduct 1/3rd of the marks allotted for that question.

According to the notification, the minimum marks required by the candidates to score for the next step of the selection is as under –

Now, post completion of Railway Group D CBT, RRB which participated in the said recruitment is going to declare the CBT score. RRB Group D Result 2026 – Normalization Method

From previous Group D recruitment onwards, Ministry of Railways, RRB has introduced Computer Based Test (CBT) rather than Pen Paper-based MCQ Exam. RRB Group D Result 2026 – Tie Breaker Rules
While compiling the RRB Group D Result 2026, by the Railway Recruitment Authority, if two or more candidates secure same marks, the Exam Authority shall determine their merit position through the following methods –
- Age criteria i.e., older person shall be at higher merit;
- In case age being same, then Alphabetical order (A to Z) of the name shall be the criteria to break the tie.

RRB Group D PET after CBT Result 2026
Based on the merit of the candidates in the CBT, candidates shall be called for PET Three times the community wise total vacancy of the Posts notified against RRB. Passing Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is mandatory and the same will be qualifying in nature. The criterion for PET is as under:

Important Notes on RRB Group D Result 2026
- Negative Marking: During the evaluation of CBT Score, 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Minimum Cut Off in CBT is UR-40%, EWS-40%, OBC (Non creamy layer)-30%, SC-30%, ST-30%. These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates.
