The Union Public Service Commission will be conducting the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2025 on 25th May, 2025 (Sunday) all over India. What to Carry with UPSC Civil Services Prelims Admit Card
The candidates who are going to attempt the UPSC Civil Services Examination should carry along the Photo ID card, whose number is mentioned in the e-Admit Card, for appearing at the Examination. However, if a candidate’s photograph on his/her e-Admit Card is not clear or without name and date of photograph, then the candidate will have to bring a photo identity card along with two passport size photographs of his own for appearing in the Examination with an undertaking. The list of valid photo identity card can be any one of the following –

- Driving License.
- Passport.
- PAN Card.

Candidates may kindly note that entry into the UPSC Civil Services Examination Venue shall be closed 30 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the Examination.
