SSC CHSL Slot Selection Process 2025
Staff Selection Commission in a surprising move has started the Slot Selection Facility for the aspirants who registered for the SSC CHSL 2025 Examination. Actually, the Staff Selection Commission has introduced the facility of candidates choosing the examination city, date and shift as per their choice. This means the candidates who are willing to avail this facility have to login into the candidate portal and exercise their choice for city (out of 3 choices submitted at the time of application), date and shift.
Candidates may note that availing this facility is not mandatory. However, as we know that during the application submission, the candidates have the option to submit the exam city choices according to which the SSC allots the exam city to the candidates. In this process, the candidates have to appear for the exam as per the exam city and slot allotted. Whereas, SSC CHSL Slot Selection 2025 lets you choose your exam city and slot as per your preference and convenience in which you can appear for the exam. Sounds Great, Right ! How to complete SSC CHSL Slot Selection 2025 ?
Staff Selection Commission has activated the facility for slot selection for CHSL Examination 2025 from 22nd October to 28th October 2025, 11:00 PM. Therefore the interested candidates can follow the steps below to book the exam city and slot as per their preference.
- Visit the SSC website @ ssc.gov.in and click on Login.
- Enter the credential to login.
- After login go to the My Application area.
- Under the SSC CHSL Examination, there will be an option which reads as ” Select City, Exam Date and Shift”.
- Click on it and read the instructions.
- Next, click Slot details.
- Available Slots will be in Green Color.
- Finally, Select the Slot and validate it through OTP at registered email and Mobile number.
- That’s it and finally check the allotment during the City Live from 3rd November 2025.
