Railway ALP Notification 2025 Application Process

RRB ALP Notification 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Here is the eligibility that a candidate needs to fulfill in order to apply for the Assistant Loco Pilot Vacancy 2025. As per the official notification the Railway Assistant Loco Pilot Notification has the following eligibility criteria which the aspirants have to possess for applying online –
| Age Limit as on 01.07.2025 | Candidates should be between 18 to 30 years, However, the upper age limit is relaxed for the reserved categories of candidates by – 3 Years for OBC candidates. 5 Years for SC/ST candidates. 10 Years for PwBD candidates. |
| Educational Qualification | Matriculation /SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright/ Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio C TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature & Coil Winder, Mechanic (Diesel), Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Mechanic. (OR) Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above (OR) Matriculation / SSLC plus three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics/ Automobile Engineering (OR) combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognised Institution in lieu of ITI. Note: Degree in the Engineering disciplines as above will also be acceptable in lieu of Diploma in Engineering. |
RRB Assistant Loco Pilot Notification 2025 Selection Process
The Railway Recruitment Board through the CEN 01/2025 Notification has finally decided to fill up 9970 vacancies of Assistant Loco Pilot in continuation of the previous vacancies as announced through CEN 01/2024. The Selection Process of the Railway Assistant Loco Pilot remains the same. Thus, the aspirants who dreamt to secure the job of Assistant Loco Pilot in Indian Railways shall have to go through the following stages of selection –
- CBT 1 / First stage CBT (Computer Based Test) and
- CBT 2 / Second Stage CBT
- Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
- Document Verification (DV) and
- Medical Examination (ME).
