When will RRB Group D PET 2026 Be Conducted?
The CBT examination was scheduled from 27th November 2025 to 10th February 2026 across multiple shifts. After the result on 1st July 2026, the Physical Efficiency Test will begin for the eligible candidates are shortlisted in the test starting from RRB Ajmer. The Railway Recruitment Board has started releasing the Physical Test dates. RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Criteria
The RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is qualifying in nature. No marks are awarded for PET. Candidates only need to meet the prescribed physical standards to clear this round.
| Male Candidates | Candidates should be able to: Lift and carry 35 kg weight for 100 metres in 2 minutes without putting the weight down. Run 1000 metres in 4 minutes 15 seconds in one attempt. |
| Female Candidates | Candidates should be able to: Lift and carry 20 kg weight for 100 metres in 2 minutes without putting the weight down. Run 1000 metres in 5 minutes 40 seconds in one attempt. |
Candidates who fail to meet any of the above standards will be disqualified from the recruitment process.

RRB Group D Selection Process 2026
The selection process for Level 1 / Group D posts consists of the following stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Document Verification (DV) & Medical Examination
Out of the selection stages, the candidates qualifying in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) will proceed to the next stage i.e. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) which is qualifying in nature.
