Candidates may kindly note that the merit List of qualified candidates shall be prepared based on performance in CBT while the trade test, typing test or skill test will be qualifying in nature.
AIIMS CRE Exam Pattern 2025
The AIIMS CRE Examination Scheme covers the examination structure, max. marks, test duration etc. which will help in the preparation of the interested. Irrespective of the Group B or C Posts, the AIIMS Authority conducts the selection process through a Computer Based Test (CBT). However, some of the posts has Skill Test / Trade Test / PET which is qualifying in nature. The structure of the AIIMS CRE Computer Based Test is as follows –
- The duration of the examination shall be 90 minutes.
- 100 MCQs of 400 marks with four alternatives for each question where each question will carry 4 marks.
- Question paper will be divided in 5 sections each of 18 minutes duration, where each section will contain 20 question.
- Question Paper will be Bilingual (English/Hindi).
- Each Question will carry equal marks 4 each.
- There will be a negative marking of 1/4 marks for each wrong answer.
- The qualifying marks will be 40% for UR/EWS, 35% for OBC and 30% for SC & ST.
- For PWBD irrespective of the category qualifying marks will be 30%.

AIIMS CRE Skill Test Details
Post the completion of CBT, the AIIMS Authority conducts the Skill Test for clerical cadre vacancies. The skill test is qualifying in nature and shall not carry any mark. However, candidates need to qualify through the skill test for final selection. Brief of Skill Test is as follows –
