What is Swasthya Sathi Scheme?
পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার অন্যান্য অনেক সমাজকল্যাণমূলক প্রকল্পের মতো রাজ্যের বাসিন্দাদের জন্য “স্বাস্থ্য সাথী প্রকল্প” চালু করেছে। স্কিমটি পেপারলেস, ক্যাশলেস, স্মার্ট কার্ড ভিত্তিক। তালিকাভুক্ত নাগরিকদের পরিবার প্রতি বছরে পাঁচ লক্ষ পর্যন্ত বেসিক স্বাস্থ্য কভার থাকবে। ইন্স্যুরেন্স মোডের মাধ্যমে দেড় লাখ টাকা এবং আশ্বাস মোডের মাধ্যমে দেড় লাখ থেকে পাঁচ লাখ টাকা পর্যন্ত।
পরিবারের আকারের কোনও ক্যাপ নেই এবং উভয় স্বামী / স্ত্রীর পিতামাতার অন্তর্ভুক্ত রয়েছে। পরিবারের সমস্ত নির্ভরশীল শারীরিক প্রতিবন্ধী ব্যক্তিরাও প্রকল্পের অধীনে বীমা করা হয়। সমস্ত বিদ্যমান রোগ insured করা হয়। পুরো প্রিমিয়ামটি রাজ্য সরকার বহন করে এবং সুবিধাভোগীকে কোনও অর্থ দিতে হবে না।
Swasthya Sathi is a cashless health insurance scheme launched by the Govt of West Bengal which shall cover all of the citizens of the West Bengal. The enrolled citizens shall receive a Swasthya Sathi Card with the Family members enrolled through it. The maximum health treatment expenses cover is up to Rs. 5 Lakhs and the premium is fully borne by the Govt of West Bengal.

Who are Eligible to Apply for Swasthya Sathi Scheme?

Note: The citizens who are beneficiary under any Govt Health Schemes and the Govt Employees who get the medical allowance as a part of the salary are not eligible for WB Swasthya Sathi Scheme.

Any citizen of West Bengal not covered under West Bengal Health Scheme, CGHS, ESI or any Govt Sponsored Health Insurance /Assurance Scheme Not in receipt of Medical allowance as part of salary from any Government/ Govt undertaking/Govt organisation are eligibile.
